It is with great sadness that we have to announce the passing of our mother Gwendoline Doris Desautels. She passed away peacefully on Tuesday February 23, 2021. She was 91yrs old and loved life. Born in England, she moved to Montreal where she met the love of her life, Hermas (Mickey) Desautels. (deceased in 2006). Soon after they married and began life, they had 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls, Stephen Desautels (deceased), Howard Desautels of Ottawa Ont, Jackie Desautels of Washington state, Carolynne Turner (Desautels) of Blind Bay BC. She also leaves behind 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Gwen moved to Blind Bay to be closer to her children. She was very fond of the area and quite enjoyed meeting new people. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Alzheimer's Society.
