Jane Frances Marie Nicholson (Block) born May 10, 1944 – July 15, 2021.

The Block family moved to Sicamous in 1952, renting in a few locations until they built a house in the early 60’s where the Storage Place is located now, right beside the United Church. All of the kids attended Eagle River. After the kids left home Jane took up bookkeeping for many people, and she found she really enjoyed the work and the people she worked for.

Jane was born in LA… I always told her it sounded so much cooler than Lethbridge Alberta. She was the youngest of 5 children born to Jake and Betty Block.

In 1960 she married Robert (Bob) Nicholson Jr. and they had 4 children. Pam, Tammy(Adrien), Tracy(James) & Robert (III) they were then blessed with 9 grandchildren – Robbi (Lyle), Devin (Christine), Shea(Bailey), Chad, Brandon(Haley), Samantha, Tamara, Mallory (Ryan), Ronnie(James). And 21 great grandchildren, Savanna (Michael), Sidney, Kade, Bailey, Emma, Rueben, Weston, Darien, Hayden, Jaxon, Halle, Brooklyn, Leeland, Beckett, Kenley, Maddix, Deegan, Emmett, Jayne, Carter, Tucker. And one Great Great Grand daughter - Oaklee Marie Schaefer.

Jane was predeceased by her mom and dad as well as 1 brother (Walt) 2 sisters (Esther & Alvina) as well as her husband (Bob -2010), Daughter Tracy (2010) and son Robert III in (1981). She has left to mourn, her brother Arthur Block, may nieces, nephews, cousins friends and her special friend/sister Denise Stanley and Joyce Ducklow who were always at her side no matter what.
