Jennifer Anne Miller

Jennifer Anne Miller, born in Richmond B.C. on October 25, 1971, passed away peacefully on May 10th, 2023 at Kelowna General Hospital surrounded by loved ones. Predeceased by her ex-husband, Sean Naish, she will be dearly remembered by her son, Zachary Naish, and parents, Michael and Beverley Miller, all of Salmon Arm, B.C., and sisters, Cynthia Mitchell (James) and Deborah Hoppenbrouwer (Michael). She will be missed by nieces and nephews, Stephanie and Nathan Mitchell of Surrey, England and Jacob, Kaitlyn and Paige Hoppenbrouwer of North Vancouver, B.C.

Jennifer will be remembered for her talent with gourmet food, having worked in the high-end service industry. Jennifer completed her degree at BCIT and moved to Calgary in her mid-twenties where she went on to work for companies such as IBM. She was married to Sean Naish in 1999 and they had their son, Zachary in 2002.

Jennifer had a passion for home projects. Whatever the improvement, Jennifer had the ability to learn skills such as tiling, with remarkable ease. She will also be remembered for her sense of adventure, most aptly demonstrated through her skydiving expeditions and long road trips. She had a taste for the exotic, having owned a parrot in her youth, and enjoyed trips to Southeast Asia, Mexico, and Hawaii.

Within the Long Term Health Care Community, Jennifer enjoyed tending to others as a health care worker for the elderly. Zachary and family wish to extend a warm and heartfelt thank-you to our many family and friends for their years of friendship and support.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Matthew’s RC Parish, 16079 88th Avenue, Surrey, B.C., V4N 1G3 on May 24th at 11am with reception to follow.
